Hello, and welcome to The Healing Hub! I’m Leanne Rutledge, MSW, and I’ve created this space specifically for healthcare professionals like you—those on the front lines of care who may be feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or disconnected from the passion that once fueled their work.


Why The Healing Hub?

As a mental health professional, I have worked closely with healthcare workers who give so much of themselves, often at the expense of their own well-being. The pressures of long hours, emotional demands, and the constant responsibility of caring for others can take a toll. Over time, this can lead to burnout, compassion fatigue, and a sense of exhaustion that feels almost impossible to shake.


I created The Healing Hub as a sanctuary for healthcare workers—a place where you can step back, take a breath, and focus on your well-being. Here, you’ll find resources to help you manage the challenges of your work, reconnect with your purpose, and rediscover a sense of balance.


What You Can Expect

  • Burnout and Compassion Fatigue Support: We’ll dive deep into understanding these issues and offer practical strategies for coping, recovery, and prevention. From recognizing early warning signs to finding ways to replenish your energy, you’ll gain tools to protect your mental and emotional health.

  • Holistic Approaches to Self-Care: It’s easy to tell someone to “take care of themselves,” but doing so—especially as a healthcare worker—can feel like an impossible task. We’ll explore realistic, meaningful self-care practices that go beyond bubble baths and massages, and focus on practices that restore both your body and mind.

  • Mindfulness and Stress Management: In the fast-paced world of healthcare, mindfulness might seem out of reach. But simple, effective techniques can help you stay grounded even in the most chaotic environments. I’ll share ways to incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine, even if you only have a few moments.

  • Recovering the Spark (and Keeping it).
