I have been in the helping profession for over 20 years.  In that time I have heard the stories of many people.  What I know for sure is that the desire for healing is common and yet each story is unique. It requires a keen ear and a truly interested heart to find your unique path to wellness. I would be honoured to hear your story.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy

Trauma is an event that overwhelms coping mechanisms due to its deeply distressing nature, resulting in ongoing negative symptoms. Trauma can result from one event, such as a car accident or assault or from ongoing  events such as childhood abuse. 

To address trauma, I use a process called Accelerated Resolution Therapy.  As noted on their website,  

"Accelerated Resolution Therapy works directly to reprogram the way in which distressing images and memories are stored in the brain so that they no longer trigger strong physical and emotional reactions."

Mindfulness and Somatic Therapies

Mindfulness allows for an increased experience of the present moment, and provides skills for understanding ourselves and others. Mindfulness assists in tuning into the body, nervous system and different emotional states  to understand how they are impacted and influenced by past and current experiences.

The right fit is important in therapy.  I offer a free 15-minute consultation to make sure we're a good fit and it feels right for you.
$200 per hour

Many insurance companies cover therapy costs.  Please check with your insurance provider to enquire about coverage. 
Appointments are available in-person, or by zoom and Covid-19 precautions are in place for in person appointments.
